Despite constant leftist attacks on the integrity and makeup of the United States Supreme Court, 60% of Americans approve of the job that Chief Justice John Roberts is doing, according to a new Gallup poll.
The Dec. 1-16 poll compares Roberts’ approval ratings with that of 10 other federal leaders, including President Job Biden (43%), Vice President Kamala Harris (44%), Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease Dr. Anthony Fauci (52%), and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (40%).
“Chief Justice John Roberts earns the highest job approval rating of 11 U.S. leaders,” Gallup reported.
During his presidency Donald Trump appointed Neil Gorsuch (2017), Brett Kavanaugh (2018), and Amy Coney Barrett (2020) to the Supreme Court, ostensibly tilting the balance of the court 6-3 in favor of conservative Republican appointees.
Since the Barrett appointment, the Left has taken its assault on the integrity of the court to the next level, attempting to sway sitting justices by calling for Congress and Biden to pack the court with partisan Democrats.

Biden responded in April by forming the “bipartisan” Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States to examine such questions as “the length of service and turnover of justices on the Court” and “the membership and size of the Court.” The commission issued its final report on Dec. 8.
On April 15, Democrat Senators and Representatives introduced the Judiciary Act of 2021 to expand the United States Supreme Court by adding four seats, creating a 13-justice Supreme Court.
“Republicans stole the Court’s majority, with Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation completing their crime spree,” said Senator Ed Markey, D-Mass., one of the bill’s sponsors.

In a Dec. 15 op-ed announcing her support for the bill, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., described the current Supreme Court as “extremist” and claimed that its “lawlessness is a powerful threat to our democracy and our country.”
