Tennessee Considers Using ADA to Challenge Biden’s Oppressive Mask Fiats

'Medical device requirements place an undue burden on our entire way of life, and put my company, my customers, and my family at risk...'

The Tennessee state legislature will consider legislation to prevent discrimination against people who do not wear face masks, National File reported.

Legislators introduced the Medical Non-Discrimination Business and Consumer Act (SB 0320/ HB 0794), which would use anti-discrimination and disability laws—favorite tools of the left—to protect the right to breathe freely.

The law would grant free breathers protections from the Americans with Disability Act and medical privacy laws.

The legislation would also protect customers who have not taken the coronavirus vaccine.

If the bill passes, businesses would not be allowed to deny the “full and equal enjoyment of goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of a place of public accommodation, resort, or amusement on the grounds of the wearing or use of a medical device, or whether the individual has received medical treatment, such as a vaccine.”

Tennessee and 12 other states have not mandated unscientific and unhealthy mask-wearing, but Republican Gov. Bill Lee has encouraged his state’s citizens to wear masks and refrain from worshiping God at church, The Blaze reported.

Tennessee Stands was circulating an petition to the General Assembly that Tennessee business owners can sign in support of the Medical Non-Discrimination Business and Consumer Act.

“My customers are the lifeblood of my business, and as such, deserve the right to have access to services without fear of repercussion,” the letter said.

“I, as a business owner, also deserve freedom from lawsuits for a disease which I am completely incapable of stopping, and I need protection against the power of cancel-culture,” it said.

“Medical device requirements place an undue burden on our entire way of life, and put my company, my customers, and my family at risk,” the letter continued. “Please quickly bring this bill to a vote and pass it for the sake of all Tennesseans.”
