With many still reeling from the apparent vote fraud being brazenly orchestrated in plain sight to reverse GOP victories, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich came out swinging in support for President Donald Trump.

Gingrich—who led the GOP in its efforts to impeach former President Bill Clinton for perjury and obstruction of justice—told Fox News’s Sean Hannity that he was enraged by Democrats’ corruption.
Although the 77-year-old ex-Georgia congressman has seen a lot in his 62-year political career, Gingrich said the current depths to which Trumps opponents were stooping was unprecedented in his experience.
“I’m the angriest I have been in that entire six decades,” he said, as reported by conservative podcaster Sara A. Carter.
Gingrich echoed the outrage of other political veterans, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is currently leading Trump’s efforts to wage legal challenges against Philadelphia’s effort to pad the vote for Democrat candidate Joe Biden.
Conservatives—and President Trump in particular—have repeatedly called attention to the concerns raised by Democrat officials’ efforts to unilaterally change election laws in response to the coronavirus panic.
But the Left’s mainstream media allies have continually spread disinformation denying the existence of fraud, despite an amassment of documented evidence substantiating it.
Philadelphia’s has been particularly egregious, with federal investigators uncovering an extensive ballot-stuffing ring earlier this year.
Pennsylvania’s GOP-led state legislature sued Gov. Tom Wolf and other election officials in the state after they circumvented the legislature to extend deadlines for collecting ballots to three days after the election and loosened the standards for signatures and postmarks.
Partisan poll workers have since refused to allow Republican observers near the ballot-counting process, disregarding a court order that said they may be within 6 feet.
In Gingrich’s home state of Georgia, not far from his former congressional district in the suburbs of Atlanta, a poll official likewise commanded that Republican observers all “leave the room.”
Gingrich described the fraudsters as “a group of corrupt people who have absolute contempt for the American people, who believe we are so spineless, so cowardly, so unwilling to stand up for ourselves that they can steal the presidency.”
But he said he expected Trump would draw the line if it became evident that the abuse would interfere with conducting a free and fair election.
His “hope is that President Trump will lead the millions of Americans, who understand exactly what’s going on,” Gingrich said. “… [T]hey are trying to steal the presidency, and we should not allow them to do that.”
