Woke Companies Ready to Pay for ‘Abortion Travels’

'Netflix, for instance, offers a $10,000 lifetime travel allowance for abortions... '

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) In the wake of the Supreme Court’s upending of Roe v. Wade, many leftist companies have said that they will pay for the travel expenses of their employees who want to kill their babies in the womb in pro-abortion” states.

With so-called trigger laws in place, the court’s decision would allow up to 14 states to move quickly to restrict abortions far more than they have for the last fifty years,” Breitbart reported.

In response, a flood of woke companies vowed to cover the travel expenses of their employees who want to travel to other states where the abortion laws are less strict. The companies include everything from Sony to Hollywood talent agencies WME, CAA and UTA.

Among other companies, Netflix and Disney promised the same “perk” to their employees, with Netflix going as far as providing a travel allowance for the rest of the lives of their employees.

“Netflix, for instance, offers a $10,000 lifetime travel allowance for abortions,” according to Breitbart. “Disney also offers such benefits.”

Paramount chief Bob Bakish sent an email to his employees reassuring them that Paramount will do the same as other companies do, calling an abortion a “health service,” The Hollywood Reporter said.

“Across the country, we have entered a moment of profound uncertainty. In the face of this uncertainty, we want to be very clear about what will not change at Paramount,” Bakish said in the email.

“[The company will cover travel expenses] if the covered health service, such as abortion, is prohibited in your area.”

Another company that immediately responded to the Supreme Court’s decision was Warner Bros. Discovery, which stated that they are immediately expanding their health care plans to include the abortion travel expenses, according to Breitbart.

“[We are] immediately expanding our healthcare benefits options to include expenses for employees and their covered family members who need to travel to access a range of medical procedures, including care for abortions, family planning and reproductive health.”
