(John Ransom, Headline USA) With spectacular audacity, the Washington Post is fact-checking claims that Hunter Biden was somehow involved in the financing of biolabs in Ukraine and blaming “Russian disinformation” for the claims.
“The [Russian] Defense Ministry released a complex-looking flow chart with spaghetti lines depicting not only the involvement of Hunter Biden but financier George Soros in the alleged financing of ‘bioweapons labs,’’ in Ukraine said the Post’s fact-checker.
The newest Post fact-checks come amid belated admissions from the media, including the Washington Post, that when it labeled the Hunter Biden laptop stories “Russian disinformation” during the 2020 presidential campaign, they got the stories wrong.

“An actual solution will require the recognition that we in the mainstream media are part of the problem: We are not trusted because we are not entirely trustworthy,” said the Washington Post this week about the coverage of the Biden laptop stories, which is a rather mild admission of possibly the grossest malpractice that journalism has ever committed on America.
The Post’s fact-check consisted of stories from RIA Novosti, a Russian state-controlled news organization, Fox’s Tucker Carlson, the New York Post and PJ Media, as if Russian state- controlled media and right-of-center American media are somehow exactly the same.
But the Post’s fact-check failed to note this important distinction: it was only RIA Novosti, the Russian state-controlled media, which claimed that the labs in question were bioweapons facilities.
Each of the other media organizations simply called them bio facilities, which is a documented fact, that they are.
