The editorial claimed that the sexual assault allegations leveled against Kavanaugh, none of which were corroborated or verified, were “credible.” The Post then accused Kavanaugh of behaving “intemperately” in response to these false and damning accusations.
The outlet said that questions Republicans have asked Jackson about the grossly lenient sentences she handed down in a number of child pornography cases were really just an effort to “smear” her, and that expecting her to weigh in on gender ideology and Critical Race Theory was offensive.
Republicans slammed the Post for attempting to whitewash Democrats’ treatment of Kavanaugh:
