UN Secretary General Upgrades ‘Global Warming’ to ‘Global Boiling’

'We need climate action on all fronts—everything, everywhere, all at once... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres recently announced that “global warming” was no longer a sufficient term for the earth’s climate situation, opting instead for “global boiling.”

“Humanity is in the hot seat,” Guterres said at a press conference. “For vast parts of North America, Asia, Africa and Europe, it is a cruel summer. For the entire planet, it is a disaster. And for scientists, it is unequivocal—humans are to blame.”

Guterres insisted that the rebranding of the panic-stricken climate movement was consistent with current scientific evidence, according to the Daily Wire.

“All this is entirely consistent with predictions and repeated warnings. The only surprise is the speed of the change. Climate change is here, it is terrifying, and it is just the beginning,” he said. “The era of global warming has ended; the era of global boiling has arrived.”

He claimed the air is “unbreathable” and the heat all over the globe “unbearable.”

Guterres has been an avowed socialist for decades, and started working with the United Nations in 2005 after serving as president of the Socialist International.

In a 1999 address, he summarized his vision for socialist utopia and described his ideal relationship between the international government and its global citizens.

“Dear friends and dear comrades …We must not abandon utopia because the antagonism between ideas and reality is both the major dilemma of democratic socialism and its fascinating driving force,” he said in the conclusion of the speech.

In a previous article he advocated for extreme government intervention globally in order to halt carbon emissions and rising temperatures.

“The 1.5-degree limit of global warming agreed in the Paris Agreement is achievable, but it will take a quantum leap. Every country and every sector must massively fast-track climate efforts,” he wrote. “We need climate action on all fronts—everything, everywhere, all at once.”

Democrats and global elites changed the language of the environmentalist movement several times—from global warming, to climate change, to extreme weather, and now global boiling.

The United Nations also has a nasty habit of randomly updating the climate apocalypse timeline, pushing baseless scientific guidelines as gospel and perpetuating climate alarmism.
