Tulsi Gabbard Slams ‘Associated Propaganda’ for ‘Exploiting’ Blacks to Push Political Agenda

'They disrespect us and our intelligence by assuming that they can just feed us whatever propaganda they want... '

(Corine GattiHeadline USA) Former Hawaii Democrat congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard was outraged after an Associated Press reporter wrote a story that appeared to exploit the recent racially motivated mass shooting in Jacksonville, Florida. Gabbard called the article “offensive” and “egregious,” and took a dig at the Associated Press by renaming it the “Associated Propaganda.”

The article Gabbard referenced was “Florida Governor Ron DeSantis faces Black leaders’ anger after racist killings in Jacksonville” on how DeSantis dismissed an “all-out attack” on black Americans and the NAACP’s concerns, and now faced the consequences of a racially motivated shooting in Jacksonville where three black people were killed by a white gunman.

Ron DeSantis scoffed when the NAACP issued a travel advisory this spring warning black people to use ‘extreme care’ if traveling to Florida,” the writer of the article tweeted.

Gabbard slammed the Associated Press for its fake news bias and alignment with the “Democrat elite” in the wake of a tragic shooting at a Dollar Tree store in Jacksonville. Despite efforts by Democrat politicians and mainstream media to use the tragedy to push for more gun control, County Sheriff TK Waters said the blame was with the individual, not the weapon used.

“I know you remember as well as I do back when the AP was a trusted news source that would objectively just report the news, just report information, Gabbard told Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Tuesday. “Seeing how they’re inserting their political bias in political narrative, writing pieces that sound a lot more like opinion pieces than they do just actually reporting the news.”

Gabbard expressed further frustration with those in the media who disregard the needs and intelligence of the American people. She highlighted the importance of providing information and facts and allowing individuals to draw their own conclusions.

“They disrespect us and our intelligence by assuming that they can just feed us whatever propaganda they want. We’re just going to soak it up,” Gabbard added. “We’re not that stupid.”

Last year, Gabbard left the Democrat Party due to reasons like elitism, pro-war stance, hostility towards people of faith, and racialization of every issue. She urged others to do the same.
