Former President Donald Trump and former first lady Melania Trump launched a new website that will allow supporters to participate in events, submit letters, and keep up to date with the Trumps’ political future.
The former president’s office unveiled the new website, 45office.com, on Monday and said the former first couple is “continually strengthened by the enduring spirit of the American people” and looks forward to “staying in touch.”
The website contains a page summarizing the Trumps’ time in the White House, as well as another page where supporters can submit comments to the former president, request a personalized greeting, or even book the pair for private events.
“Through this office, President Trump will remain a tireless champion for the hardworking men and women of our great country – and for their right to live in safety, dignity, prosperity, and peace,” reads a message on the website’s homepage.
This is just one of the ways Trump plans to remain in the public eye following his suspension from social media.
He also has hinted at launching his own social media platform.
“I do think we’re going to see President Trump returning to social media and probably about two or three months here with his own platform,” Trump adviser Jason Miller told Fox News earlier this month.
“This is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media,” he said. “It’s going to completely redefine the game.”
Miller said “numerous companies” have approached Trump about starting his own platform.
“I think the president knows what direction he wants to head here. This new platform is going to be big, and everyone wants him. He’s going to bring millions and millions, tens of millions of people to this new platform,” he said.
