Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., changed his attitude toward left-wing political violence at a hearing about the January 6th Capitol insurrection hoax.
He acknowledged on Jan. 11 that the far-left has a problem with political violence and that Antifa and Black Lives Matter have committed crimes.
Durbin at terror hearing: “Violent extremism exists on both ends of the political spectrum. And whether an act of violence is being committed by a white supremacist in the Capitol, or a far-left extremist at a riot in Portland, it is unacceptable and inexcusable all the same.”

Durbin made these comments four days after he slandered former President Donald Trump with the false allegation that he “sent a murderous mob to attack this Capitol and overturn the electionhe lost,” CNS News reported.
“Congress and our Nation marked the first anniversary of one of the darkest days in America history yesterday: the January 6 insurrection, the day American democracy was nearly lost,” Durbin claimed.
Leftists attacked Durbin on Twitter for noticing the far-left’s violent tactics.
Rioting for justice against white supremacists is our best American tradition. Rioting to overturn an election and murder Mike Pence is less traditional and also not equivalent

The J6 Inquisition has not found any evidence to substantiate the “insurrection” claim, and federal authorities have not charged anyone with crimes more substantial than assault or trespassing.
Instead, Republicans have shown that the FBI infiltrated the January 6th protest and instigated a riot.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas., exposed part of the plot at a Senate Judiciary hearing.
