STUDY: Testosterone Turns Democrat Voters More Conservative

'Our results demonstrate that testosterone induces a “red shift” among weakly-affiliated Democrats... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A recent study has revealed that testosterone levels in men are closely connected to political leaning, the National Pulse reported.

The study, which is called Testosterone Administration Induces A Red Shift in Democrats, was directed by Professor Paul Zak, of the Center for Neuroeconomics Studies at Claremont Graduate University.

Zak is well-respected in his field, and according to his professional biography, his achievements have been notable.

“His research has made a substantial impact in explaining the variation in human social behaviors and has been cited by other scholars over 18,000 times placing in the top 0.3% of all scholars.”

His study tracked the political preference of 136 voting-age males during the 2012 voting cycle.

According to Zak’s findings, the production of the hormone testosterone makes centrist men more likely to become conservative.

“Our results demonstrate that testosterone induces a “red shift” among weakly-affiliated Democrats,” the report said.

The study relied on a potential voter’s disposition towards potential presidential candidates from each party. After receiving a dose of synthetic testosterone, those who would generally lean Left would become more open to Republicans.

“When weakly affiliated Democrats received additional testosterone, the strength of their party fell by 12 percent and they reported 45 percent warmer feelings towards Republican candidates for president.”

Of course, the study applies mostly to weakly-affiliated Democrats, who already had a much higher testosterone base than those who are radical partisans. Thus, even within the Democrat party, the lower one’s testosterone, the farther Left they are likely to lean.

“Before the testosterone treatment, we found that weakly affiliated Democrats had 19 percent higher basal testosterone than those who identified strongly with the party.”

Of course, this leads one to believe that people’s politics could be manipulated by those in all industries which affect one’s physical health.

Some scientists on the Left have even proposed the introduction of “morality pills” to “help” those on the Right become more open to tyranny.
