Soros-Backed Prosecutor Loses Race in Loudoun County, Va.

'There is no current path to victory for Buta Biberaj and we look forward to waiting for the due process to run course...'

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Republican Bob Anderson, the former Commonwealth’s Attorney for Loudon County, won the race to reclaim his old seat against George Soros-funded incumbent Buta Biberaj by just over 1,000 votes on Tuesday.

As of 8 p.m. Wednesday, Anderson led the race with 66,835 votes versus Biberaj’s 65,814.

Anderson did not officially declare the win, though he made a confident assertion of his victory Wednesday morning via Twitter.

There is no current path to victory for Buta Biberaj and we look forward to waiting for the due process to run course,” he said.

“I am confident the results will remain the same, and look forward to serving as your next Commonwealth’s Attorney,” he added.

Biberaj, at press time, had yet to concede the victory to her opponent.

“Our race is too-close-to-call, with several precincts left to count, as well as more mail in votes and provisional ballots,” Biberaj said. “I look forward to the Loudoun County election canvass starting tomorrow to ensure that every vote is counted in this close race.”

Anderson, who served as the county’s top prosecutor  from 1996 to 2003, opted to run for again to fight what he called “chaos” put in place during Biberaj’s tenure, pointing to the high turnover and apparent lack of leadership in the position.

Loudoun, which often ranks as the most affluent county in the entire U.S., has made national news for its woke policies, particularly related to public education.

Its school superintendent was fired, and later indicted, for efforts to cover up the rapes of female students by a transgender student at two separate schools. However, that accountability came only after state intervention following Biberaj’s refusal to act.

The county also regularly sought to suppress outraged parents attempting to speak at school board meetings and force teachers to comply with woke pronoun policies.

In other cases involving violent criminal activity, Biberaj was likewise booted after judges interceded due to her excessive leniency.

Those critical of Biberaj’s work claimed her “soft on crime” approach caused more problems than it solved—a typical trait of Soros’s legal lackeys.

Throughout her tenure, Biberaj refused to prosecute misdemeanor crimes. These crimes included hit-and-run, evading arrest, reckless driving, trespassing and failure to appear in court.

Soros spent almost $700,000 to install Biberaj in the previous election, although she won by a razor-thin margin of 0.2%.
