Sexually-Fluid Olympics Follows Radical Woke National Trend

'Males will always have inherent physical advantages over comparably talented and trained girls - that’s the reason we have girls sports in the first place...'

The International Olympic Committee has toppled under the gusting winds of social justice-ry and climbed aboard the good ship woke, declaring that men can be women and women can compete just fine with women who are men.

“After years of having very specific rules regulating testosterone levels and in what way biological males would be able to compete in women’s athletic events,” the Federalist reported that when it comes to transgender participants the Olympics “has determined that there should be no barriers at all to men competing in women’s events.”

Indeed, that is the same encroaching sexually-fluid orthodoxy that has so pervaded society it’s forced states to extricate actual female athletes from its transgender clutches.

In Florida, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis kicked off LGBTQ Pride Month by signing the “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act,” designed to protect female athletes from having to compete against biological males regardless of their self-professed gender, reported the National Review.

“We believe it’s very important that the integrity of those competitions are preserved, that these opportunities are protected,” DeSantis said of high school and college athletics.

“We’re going to go based off biology,” he said, “not ideology when we’re doing sports.”

Fanatic leftists from the woke cabal insist on just the opposite, with little but pure ideology driving their dismissal of basic biology and science.

They claim that protecting female athletes from the physical risks of competing with males who self-identify as females is simply an attempt to force trans people into hiding. And they conveniently ignore any concerns from female athletes who have lodged complaints after transgender athletes defeated them in competitions.

Take, for example, three girls who participated on high school track teams in Connecticut and filed a federal discrimination complaint against a statewide transgender policy, which allows athletes to compete as the gender with which they identify, saying it cost them top finishes in competitions and possibly college scholarships.

“Males will always have inherent physical advantages over comparably talented and trained girls—that’s the reason we have girls sports in the first place,” said one of the girl’s attorneys. “And a male’s belief about his gender doesn’t eliminate those advantages.”

A wave of legislation designed to help protect women’s sports has steadily built across the country, with nearly a dozen states joining the effort, including Texas, Idaho, West Virginia, Montana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and South Dakota.

The bills were largely in response to President Joe Biden’s radically divisive ‘Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation” which included athletics in its command to ensure so-called inclusiveness, despite flying in the face of basic biological science and common sense.

“There is an inherent, biological, undeniable difference between men and women, boys and girls,” Rep. Traci Koster said in support of Florida’s legislation protecting women’s sports. “Simply put: we were designed differently.”

Try telling that to the International Olympic Committee.
