Sen. Johnson Rips Cocaine Coverup by Biden White House

'Why can't you just get your story straight?...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) In a Saturday interview with Newsmax’s Rita Cosby, Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., expressed grave concerns about what he believes to be a cover-up of wrongdoing within the Biden administration.

Johnson highlighted the discovery of cocaine on the White House grounds, emphasizing the permissive attitude and lack of transparency exhibited by the current president.

Johnson questioned the absence of surveillance cameras in a heavily trafficked area where the cocaine was found.

“You would think there’s surveillance cameras all over the place,” Johnson stated. “I know exactly where they are. We’re in contact with the Secret Service. We’re getting no response whatsoever from the Secret Service in terms of what investigatory steps they’re taking. It shouldn’t take this long, that’s for sure.”

Drawing from his experience in oversight, Johnson expressed his lack of surprise at the agencies ignoring congressional inquiries. He noted the limited enforcement powers available to Congress and stressed the need to strengthen oversight capabilities to hold government agencies accountable.

The senator further criticized the permissive nature of the current administration, remarking on the security measures in place at the White House grounds.

“You gotta have a lot of guts, quite honestly, to walk through that building with the cocaine because you could be patted down,” Johnson added. “You certainly go through metal detectors. So you’ve got to have a lot of cojones to do something like that, which again just speaks to the permissive nature of this administration across the board.”

Addressing the conflicting statements from the Biden White House, Johnson pointed out the discrepancies regarding the Biden family’s presence during the discovery of the cocaine.

He cited press pool reports that contradicted statements made by Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House Deputy Press Secretary. Johnson criticized the administration for failing to provide accurate and consistent information.

“Why can’t you just get your story straight?” Johnson questioned. “Let’s get all the facts out front accurately so that the American people don’t start questioning what we’re trying to say here, but that’s not what they’ve done here. So again, it just looks suspicious.”
