Russia Trolls Biden Admin after ‘War’ Date Comes and Goes

'We don’t know what’s going to happen, but the risk is now high enough, and the threat is now immediate enough, that this is what prudence demands... '

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) The Russian government trolled the Biden administration, which claimed Russia planned to invade Ukraine on Feb. 16, with memes and facetious jabs about “‘start of war with Ukraine,'” Just the News reported.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs attacked the Western media’s credibility and warmongering.

The Russian Embassy in South Africa tweeted a meme of John Travolta in “Pulp Fiction” looking around an empty St. Michael’s Monastery in Kiev.

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Russia had amassed troops on Ukraine’s border and could strike before the end of the Beijing Olympics on Feb. 20.

“We don’t know what’s going to happen, but the risk is now high enough, and the threat is now immediate enough, that this is what prudence demands,” Sullivan said when stating that Americans should evacuate from Ukraine.

President Joe Biden allegedly told American allies that Russian President Vladimir Putin had planned the assault for Feb. 16, Politico reported.

The Russian MFA also tweeted a collage that shows more than a dozen Western news articles about Putin’s plans to invade Ukraine, including Bloomberg’s false article, “Live: Russia Invades Ukraine.”
