RINO Murkowski Backed Alaska’s Ranked Voting to Undermine GOP Primary

'We’re being strategic with our messaging. Walking a fine line, I guess is what I’m saying, to try to get her elected... '

(Chris Parker, Headline USA) A Project Veritas Action video release confirmed that Sen. Lisa Murkowski, RINO-Alaska, secretly supported her state’s ranked voting system despite publicly claiming to be neutral.

The leaked video showed two campaign staffers discussing her privately-held views regarding Alaska‘s ranked-choice voting system.

“She stayed quiet and honestly it was probably best she stayed quiet on that,” Josiah Nash, Murkoski’s interior coordinator, said in the video. “She supports it, yeah.”

Nash also confirmed the campaign’s leftist views and manipulative communication strategy.

“You’re not going to see the campaign come out and necessarily support progressive things. I mean, behind closed doors we’ll have talks…” he continued.

“We’re being strategic with our messaging. Walking a fine line, I guess is what I’m saying, to try to get her elected.”

Later in the video, he confirmed that Ballot Measure 2 is helpful to leftists – and that Murkoski’s campaign supported the measure.

“They framed it [Ballot Measure 2] basically, you know, ‘This gives you more choice’ — ‘This makes it so we have better candidates.’ And I think it helps progressive candidates…If it was [called] a progressive measure, it wouldn’t really work,” he said.

Ballot Measure 2 included a provision to “establishing ranked-choice voting for general elections, including the presidential election, in which voters would rank the candidates.” It was approved by voters.

Ranked-choice allows voters to rank candidates in order of their preference on a scale of 1-4. Candidates automatically win if they receive over half of first-choice votes. Otherwise, candidates with fewer votes are eliminated. Those who voted for that candidate as their first choice will then have their second choice counted, and so on until a winner is chosen.

Supporters of the system have employed drag performers to invade cafes and hand out cash in an effort to increase public awareness.

Murkowski has managed to win three terms without every receiving a majority of votes. She also has a higher approval rating among Democrats in her state than Republicans. She largely has her RINO voting record to thank for that, ranging from supporting abortion rights to voting against the repeal of Obamacare.

“While we were working on Ballot Measure 2 and voting for Ballot Measure 2, we had Senator Murkowski in mind the whole time,” said Emma Ashlock, Murkowski’s campaign coordinator.
