Report: Over 40 Sources Provided Info to FBI about Biden Family Criminality

'An essential question that must be answered is this: did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down?...'

(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The FBI received criminal tips from more than 40 informants about Biden-related crimes, but worked to discredit and suppress such information ahead of the 2020 presidential election, according to a Wednesday report from Fox News.

Citing a letter from Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, Fox reported that the 40-plus informants “provided criminal information to the FBI relating to Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden.” The informants were managed by FBI field offices throughout the country, including in Seattle.

Grassley reportedly learned that the Washington Field Office suppressed information from those sources by falsely discrediting the tips as foreign disinformation—causing “investigative activity to cease” in mid-2020.

In at least one instance, according to Grassley, an informant’s tip was vetted and found to have “no hits to known sources of Russian disinformation.”

“Based on the information provided to my office over a period of years by multiple credible whistleblowers, there appears to be an effort within the Justice Department and FBI to shut down investigative activity relating to the Biden family,” Grassley reportedly wrote in his letter, which was addressed to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Chris Wray.

“Such decisions point to significant political bias infecting the decision-making of not only the Attorney General and FBI Director, but also line agents and prosecutors.”

Grassley demanded answers from Garland and Wray.

“An essential question that must be answered is this: did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down?” Grassley wrote, demanding that the FBI and DOJ provide answers to his letter by Nov. 17.

The FBI’s apparent suppression of the Biden crime family investigation mirrors what the bureau did with Hillary Clinton  ahead of the 2016 election.

Along with declining to charge Clinton in relation to the email scandal, the FBI also squashed an investigation into possible foreign corruption—a fact revealed earlier this year in the Durham report.

According to that report, an FBI informant made an illegal donation to the 2016 Clinton presidential campaign on behalf of a foreign national, but the informant’s handlers ignored the law-breaking action and steered their investigation away from Clinton.

According to the special prosecutor’s report, the informant’s handler sent him or her the following message: “Do NOT attend any more campaign events, set up meetings, or anything else relating to [Clinton’s] campaign. We need to keep you completely away from that situation. I don’t know all the details, but it’s for your own protection.”
