(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) The Daily Mail has published a bombshell report confirming that President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, likely played a key role in the establishment of Department of Defense-funded bioweapons research facilities in Ukraine.
Hunter Biden’s efforts on behalf of Metabiota — an American “data science” company specializing in infectious diseases — occurred while he sat on the board of the Ukrainian gas firm, Burisma, whose corruption took center stage during the first impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Emails discovered on the “laptop from hell” show that Biden “helped secure millions of dollars of funding for Metabiota,” which was at the time a subcontractor for the Department of Defense in Ukraine.
“The president’s son and his colleagues invested $500,000 in Metabiota through their firm Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners,” the Daily Mail reported.
The emails disclose that Hunter Biden then acted as the middle man as Metabiota and Burisma worked together on a “science project involving high biosecurity level labs in Ukraine.”
Oddly, Metabiota also sought, through Hunter Biden, to offer the troubled eastern European country its help in asserting “Ukraine’s cultural and economic independence from Russia and continued integration into Western society,” according to an April 2014 email to Hunter Biden from a Metabiota VP.
The Daily Mail interviewed former senior CIA officer Sam Faddis in an effort to understand why a “data science” company would offer to assist Ukraine politically.
“[Biden’s] father was the Vice President of the United States and in charge of relations with Ukraine,” Faddis said. “So why was Hunter not only on the board of a suspect Ukrainian gas firm, but also hooked them up with a company working on bioweapons research?”
“Why is Hunter Biden in the middle of all this?,” Faddis continued. “Why is the disgraced son of the vice president at the heart of this — the guy with no discernible skills and a cocaine habit.”
“It raises the question, what is the real purpose of this venture?”
According to the Mail, the U.S. Department of Defense gave Metabiota an $18.4million contract “between February 2014 and November 2016, with $307,091 earmarked for ‘Ukraine research projects.'”
