(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has decided to seek a restraining order against the Timothy Hysom for his vandalism of posters outside her office, a disgraceful act that will not likely make any J6 Tribunal TV highlight reels.
Hysom, the chief of staff to Massachusetts Democrat Rep. Jake Auchincloss and former staffer for Democrat Adam Schiff, put stickers and scrawled messages on Greene’s posters, which she put on the wall to insist that there are only two biological genders.
He was caught in the act by mounted cameras, Just the News reported.
According to Greene, she had no choice but to request a restraining order, as nobody else–including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi–seemed concerned with the vandalism.
“Nancy Pelosi and Democrat leadership don’t believe in protecting me,” she said. “So I have no other choice but to do whatever I can do to protect myself and protect my staff.”
She also noted that she is troubled that Hysom has been permitted to work in the same building as her and her staff, despite the bizarre poster defacement.
“I didn’t even know who this person was that was continuing to attack me for months and months,” she said. “And all I know is he refuses to apologize. He’s doubled down on what he has done.”
Matt Corridoni, a spokesman for Auchincloss, shot back at MTG, arguing that a restraining order is unnecessary because Hysom never contacted Greene, nor did he intend to.
“Tim has never had direct contact with the congresswoman, nor does he plan to in the future. The order is unnecessary and nothing more than political theater,” he said.
The Capitol Police had issued an arrest warrant for Hysom, but Biden’s Department of Justice, which has devoted most of its efforts to the J6 tribunal, said that it would not act.
“The Department of Justice refuses to prosecute Tim Hysom, Jake Auchincloss’s chief of staff, even though he’s been caught by Capitol Police, he’s on camera on video twice, attacking the sign, attacking my religion, attacking my gender, and attacking my beliefs on protecting gender and also the beliefs of my district,” Greene said before roasting Pelosi’s double-standard.
“And so they refuse to prosecute him. Nancy Pelosi will not provide me with secure security detail, even though they provide themselves with a security detail.”
