Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., slammed Anthony Fauci as a “petty tyrant” after the White House COVID czar said vaccinated Americans are still not allowed to eat indoors or gather with others.
Fauci continues to ignore 100 years of vaccine science.
His only real theme is “do what I say” even when it makes no sense.
If you’ve recovered or been vaccinated – go about your life. Eat, drink, work, open the schools.
Enough with the petty tyrants! https://t.co/HiZR9JRuTI

“Fauci continues to ignore 100 years of vaccine science,” said Paul, who is also a medical doctor. “His only real theme is ‘do what I say’ even when it makes no sense.”
Paul was responding to comments Fauci made over the weekend, in which he discouraged vaccinated Americans from returning to normal activities even though they are now immune to COVID-19.
“Please remember that you still have to be careful and not get involved in crowded situations, particularly indoors where people are no wearing masks,” Fauci said.
“For the simple reason that the level of infection, the dynamic of infection in the community are still really disturbingly high,” he continued. “Like just yesterday there were close to 80,000 new infections and we’ve been hanging around 60, 75,000.”
Fauci said something similar during a congressional hearing last month, leading Paul to slam Fauci’s restrictions as “political theater.”
“It’s a ridiculous notion not based on science, and what he is doing is theater and it goes against the science of vaccines,” Paul said.
“Dr. Fauci has immunity,” Paul continued. “He can’t get it again, but he’s wearing a mask because it’s one of his noble lies to convince everybody to wear masks—but it’s not true.”
Paul went on to cite multiple studies that prove vaccinated Americans are not susceptible to COVID-19 variants.
Sorry Dr Fauci and other fearmongers, new study shows vaccines and naturally acquired immunity DO effectively neutralize COVID variants.
Good news for everyone but bureaucrats and petty tyrants!
