(Ken Silva, Headline USA) The suspect in a fatal shooting at a fast-food restaurant in Idaho died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
The suspect was identified as 24-year-old Chad Williams.

Authorities said they are confident that Williams acted alone. In all three people died and seven were injured in the shooting at a recently opened In-and-Out Burger restaurant. Authorities said two of the injured were treated at a hospital and released, three were listed in stable condition and two were in critical condition.
Law enforcement’s identification of Williams came as rumors spread online that a citizen armed with a pistol stopped Williams’s rampage. Photos and videos are circulating of the citizen, identified as Jordan Salinas, returning fire at Williams. It’s unclear whether the person pictured with the pistol is indeed Salinas, or whether Williams was hit by him.
Salinas could not immediately be reached for comment.

Police were still trying to determine the shooter’s identity and motive, Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks said in a news conference earlier Saturday.
“We believe the threat to the community is over,” Hicks said. “It was a very chaotic scene.”
