NYC Actress Fired for Tweet Criticizing Slain Police Officer’s Funeral

'This kind of garbage has polluted the conversation for far too long... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) An actress in New York City was fired for criticizing a slain police officer’s funeral via Twitter.

The actress, Jacqueline Guzman, who posts under the handle @vinylboobs, complained that the funeral was undeserved because police are vicious killers, the New York Post reported.

For whatever reason, Guzman believes that they target teenagers, and children in particular, and for no reason.

“We do not need to shut down most of Lower Manhattan because one cop died for probably doing his job incorrectly,” Guzman said. “They kill people who are under 22 every single day for no good reason, and we don’t shut down the city for them.”

The funeral was for NYPD Detective Jason Rivera, a 22-year old who was murdered in an ambush last month.

Guzman, evidently preferring lockdowns to public gatherings, complained that the congested area designated for the funeral might be unsafe.

“Like this is f***ing ridiculous. This is f***ing ridiculous. What if somebody is having a heart attack in this area? Nobody can get to them because it’s all blocked off for one f***ing cop.”

Guzman was soon fired by her employer, Face to Face Films, for her vulgar video mocking the fallen officer.

“Face to Face Films does not support nor can condone these comments made about fallen Officer Rivera,” the company wrote.

Guzman received instant backlash for her comments.

“New Yorkers turned out by the thousands yesterday to help us honor our fallen brother,” Police Unions President Patrick Lynch said. “One person spreading hate cannot erase that.

“This kind of garbage has polluted the conversation for far too long,” he said. “We need the New Yorkers who are standing with us to speak up and push back.”

Another Brooklyn cop expressed pity for the former actress: “If this is the only way she can get publicity, I feel very sorry for her.”

Guzman did not return a request for comment.
