North Carolinians for Immigration Reform and Enforcement released its Monthly Child Rapes by Illegal Aliens reports for October through February, which found that 94 illegal aliens were arrested for 596 counts of child rape or sexual assault.
NCFIRE President James Johnson said he verifies the citizenship status in each case by contacting “the arresting agency” and asking them, since “arrest records are public information” in North Carolina.
Authorities arrested 15 illegal aliens on 39 child sexual assault charges in October 2020.
Alberto Leon, 29, of Columbus County, sent nude photographs of himself to an eight-year-old girl, WWAY reported.
The girl’s mother, who lives in Washington state, informed local authorities about the sexual predation, and then the Homeland Security Department began investigating.
Leon contacted the girl on social media and asked her to send him photos. Even after he learned her age, he kept talking with the girl.
The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, with help from federal and local authorities, arrested Leon and charged him with “felony dissemination of obscene material to a minor.”
Mecklenburg County authorities arrested Alberto Morel on Oct. 1 and charged him with first-degree rape, three counts of first-degree sex offense with a child, and and three counts of indecent liberties with a child, Busted-NC Mugshots reported.
Randolph County authorities arrested Manuel De Jesus Morales on Oct. 6 for incest with a child between 13 and 15 years old and statutory sex offense with a child younger than 15, Arrests.org reported.
Eight more illegal aliens were arrested on 23 counts in November.
There was a spike in arrests and charges in December, with police arresting 21 illegal aliens on 379 charges.
Cristian Cruz, 35, amassed 309 charges—103 counts of statutory rape of a child by an adult, 103 counts of incest, and 103 counts of indecent liberties with child, KXAN reported.
When he was 32 years old, Cruz repeatedly assaulted an 11-year-old relative.
The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina issued an arrest warrant for Cruz, who was arrested in Bastrop, Texas.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Santos Carmen Flores on Dec. 22 and charged him with three felonies: first-degree kidnapping, attempted second degree forced sexual offense and larceny, the Richmond County Daily Journal reported.
The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose Rosendo Marquez, 50, and charged him with 19 counts of first-degree statutory sex offense against a child.
The minor victim testified that Marquez repeatedly sexually assault him or her in August 2017, the Statesville Record & Landmark reported.
NCFIRE documented 17 illegal aliens who were arrested and charged with 55 counts of child rape or sexual assault in January.
The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Rene Zuncin on Jan. 19 and charged him with 11 crimes: “four counts of first-degree statutory sexual offense, five counts of indecent liberties with a child, one count of assault on a child under 12 and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the Mount Olive Tribune reported.
Zuncin allegedly committed these crimes against a 10-year-old.
There were 33 illegal aliens arrested on 100 charges in February.
Among these arrests was Nestor Vladimir Huezo-Velasquez, 40.
The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office arrested Huezo-Velasquez on Feb. 4 and charged him with two counts of first-degree child rape, first degree sex offense against a child, and eight counts of indecent liberties with a child, NC Arrests reported.
