(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) In a striking display of hypocrisy, the Democrat Party, along with the mainstream media, is facing mounting criticism for ignoring scathing financial findings against leftist Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, while hyping dubious reports against conservative Justice Clarence Thomas.
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, is reportedly considering a hearing to address the Supreme Court’s mishandling of Thomas’s failure to disclose his wife’s income earnings. During the 2000s, Thomas omitted Ginni Thomas’s salaries from the Heritage Foundation and Hillsdale College in his Supreme Court financial disclosure filings. However, he rectified the mistake in 2011 upon being alerted to the mishaps.
“When the issue is potentially unlawful conduct by a sitting Supreme Court justice, transparency is essential for accountability and to instill public confidence in the outcome,” Whitehouse claimed of the decade-old error.
Whitehouse, however, remained radio silent on disclosure errors found in a Senate hearing by Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., amid the same time when the mainstream media torched Thomas. Jackson had during her confirmation hearings revised earlier statements and copped to having had “inadvertently omitted” key financial disclosures.
“Justice Jackson made multiple amendments three days after President Biden nominated her,” Kennedy said. Those “amendments” included money that her husband had received from consulting on medical malpractice cases, and also new details on board memberships and travel reimbursements dating back to at least 2014.
Senator John Kennedy perfectly sums up Democrat attacks on the legitimacy of the Supreme Court:

Kennedy also slammed the Democrat Party for hypocritically turning a blind to the findings
“Not one senator brought that up during her confirmation hearings,” he said. “Not one of my colleagues here walked into her hearings with the buckets of mud that they’ve thrown against Justice Thomas. Not one.”
Kennedy’s slap-down of the Democrats was echoed by Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., who in an interview with CNN’s Abby Phillips, questioned why the media protected Jackson, the Court’s most leftist justice, amid the dire financial findings.
Phillips asked Donalds whether he had evidence of a leftist justice failing to disclose financial earnings in these reports, to which Donalds replied positively.
“Oh actually, I do,” Donalds said. “A report just came out that Justice Jackson, Ketanji Brown Jackson. She didn’t disclosure consulting income her husband had. She failed to disclose that.”
