Mitch McConnell Voted Most Unpopular Senator

'Another RINO bites the dust...'

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. is the least popular senator in Congress, according to a Morning Consult poll.

The poll was conducted on a state-by-state basis, asking residents to rate their elected representatives and senators. Just the News reported on the poll, saying “just one-third of Kentuckians, 33%, approve of McConnell’s job performance, while 60% disapprove.”

The most popular Senator is South Dakota Republican Sen. John Thune, who has a 62% approval rating.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., has shown a 16% approval increase across the board in his state despite his more moderate Democrat views.

“It turns out that Joe Manchin knows more about West Virginia voters than D.C. strategists,” said former Manchin aide Jonathan Kott. “The amount of interactions he has with his voters I don’t think can be paralleled by other members.”

Democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema has fallen two points from 44% to 42% in the state of Arizona, despite making similar moves as Manchin and blocking key pieces of Democrat legislation.

Manchin’s ratings place him among America’s Top 10 most popular senators.

Social media users were not surprised by McConnell’s ratings:
