Mississippi Democrat Accuses Party of Staging ‘High Tech Election Heist’ Against Him

'She won. But  I'm going to f*** David Archie on the site!!! ... '

(Headline USAA Mississippi Democrat accused his party this week of staging a “high tech election heist” to prevent him from winning.

Hinds County District 2 Supervisor David Archie was seeking his second term in the Democrat primary election held on Aug. 8, but accused the Democrat county chairperson of conspiring with his rival to prevent him from winning the nomination, ABC affiliate WAPT reported.

After losing to challenger Anthony Smith by 63% of the vote, Archie said he requested a ballot box review of the election results but was provided only with paper ballots. He said he was denied secondary confirmation measures, such as a voter signatures or the thumb drives from voting machines that show when each individual ballot was submitted.

Archie said Jacqueline Amos, chairperson of the Hinds County Democratic Executive Committee, is behind the “fraud,” pointing to a recent report that showed Amos privately disparaging him.

In a text message exchange, an unidentified person reportedly texted Amos, “Hey, don’t let them cheat Debroha Dixon out of her election. She won fair and square.”

Amos replied: “She won. But  I’m going to f*** David Archie on the site!!!”

Archie said he also has evidence of Amos “going into boxes, bringing in thumb drives, bringing in ballots to be inserted into machines. We have pictures of Jacque Amos participating in what we think is fraud as well as corruption.”

“The bottom line is that we have the text, she’s the chairperson, she’s the one that’s responsible,” Archie said at a press conference. “She must be impartial to any and all elections here in Hinds County and this does not speak that she was being impartial to an election.”

Amos’s office released a statement in response, claiming the election “results speak for themselves.”

“We understand that one candidate who lost, namely David Archie, has decided to challenge the results of the August 8, 2023, primary. He has the right to challenge the results. We stand ready for the challenge and will cooperate however necessary,” Amos said.
