Leftist Media Already Trying to Rehab Liz Cheney’s (Future) Loss

'Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming was nowhere near the voters weighing her future...'

(Ezekiel Loseke, Headline USA) The cosmopolitan media is attempting to turn Liz Cheney into a martyr of anti-Trumpism, and thus spin her loss into a run for POTUS because she abandoned Wyoming.

On the other hand, the people of Wyoming have been clear: RINO Liz has got to go. The Wyoming Republican party voted to censor her. The Wyoming GOP also voted to no longer recognize her as a Republican. Cheney responded by instructing Wyoming Democrats how to vote for her.

The mainstream media has long acknowledged that Liz Cheney will lose to Harriet Hageman in their primary race for a seat in the House of Representatives. The New York Times‘ Jonathan Martin opened an article entitled “Liz Cheney is Ready to Lose. But She’s Not Ready to Quit,” by acknowledging her distance from Wyoming. He began, “It was just over a month before her primary, but Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming was nowhere near the voters weighing her future.”

Politico, in an article entitled “Why Wait, Here’s Liz Cheney’s Concession Speech in Advance,” likewise opens with Cheney’s imminent defeat in Wyoming. It began, “Cheney needs to signal that the loss of her Wyoming House seat in a GOP primary is in no way the end of her career, but the opening of a new phase in which she intends to be one of the most important people in American political life.”

Both the New York Times article and the Politico write-up sought to push Cheney into the White House because of her distance from President Trump and the people of Wyoming.

Both articles acknowledged that Cheney used to reject identity politics, be a staunch Republican partisan, and spend most of her time with other Republicans. But the articles highlighted and celebrated Cheney’s redemption arc. Cheney’s redemption is her rejection of all these positions. Instead, as the articles showed, she has embraced a new role. Cheney is now a female identarian who calls her party enablers of white supremacy and who spends most of her time with Democrats in the capital (or federal) city.

The media’s message is clear. Like her neo-con father, Liz has abandoned the way of life, the values and the people of Wyoming. Liz, like Dick, is not a citizen of Wyoming but the Capital city. Accordingly, she is beloved by the establishment’s media, its Democrats and its swamp.

Liz Cheney cannot win in Wyoming because she has rejected Wyoming. Still, the media, the establishment and the swamp want her to be POTUS.
