(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The wife of Jack Smith, a “veteran career prosecutor” and Attorney General Merrick Garland’s choice as former President Donald Trump’s special counsel to continue the Mar-a-Lago witch hunt, produced a documentary honoring Michelle Obama and also donated thousands of dollars to Joe Biden‘s presidential campaign.
Records show that Smith’s wife, Katy Chevigny, is a “high dollar donor” to the Biden campaign, with her production company Big Mouth Productions giving $2,000 to the Biden for President campaign during the 2020 election season, the Post Millennial reported.
Chevigny also donated to Squad congresswoman Rashida Tlaib’s campaign.
In a show of partisan loyalty, Chevingy’s company produced a documentary about former First Lady Michelle Obama called Becoming–the story of Michelle Obama’s highly publicized time living in the White House.

Katy Chevigny, the wife of newly appointed Special Counsel Jack Smith, also gave money to Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the Islamist member of the radical ‘Squad’ who said of Trump: ‘We’re gonna impeach the motherf*cker’.
Many on the Right are understandably upset by the completely partisan appointment.
“Wow. The wife of special prosecutor Jack Smith was a high dollar donor to Joe Biden’s presidential campaign,” MAGA War Room wrote.
Garland, who was later asked about the appointment, simply suggested that Smith has been doing his job for a long time.
“I signed an order appointing Jack Smith to serve as Special Counsel,” Garland said.
“The order authorizes him to continue the ongoing investigation into both of the matters that I’ve just described, and to prosecute any federal crimes that may arise from those investigations. Mr. Smith is a veteran career prosecutor.”
Smith also has a well-documented history of targeting conservatives, stretching back to his integral involvement with the IRS’s plot to wrongly emphasize and pursue audits of conservative groups.
