Leftist D.C. Mayor Sics National Guard on Immigrants

'She was all for it until it got to her house... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) 73 migrants were found in six different houses operated by human smugglers in Washington D.C., as mayors and governors in deep blue strongholds are finding their leftist policies battering their own backyards with the arrival of thousands of immigrants.

According to the Washington Examiner, officials from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations found 60 adults and 13 children after conducting an operation to discover “stash houses.”

Stash houses are buildings used by human smugglers to hold migrants, who can’t leave without permission. Migrants pay smugglers thousands to keep them hidden after crossing the border, and usually stay until they are able to travel to their desired destinations.

These houses are usually found in states closer to America’s southern border.

The discovery of a D.C. stash house coincides with a request from Mayor Muriel Bowser to the federal government to deploy the National Guard to help respond to migrant buses arriving in the city.

Bowser groused that “over 4,000 individuals arriving on 200 buses” had invaded her city, in a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin requesting the deployment of National Guard troops, reported the New York Post.

And she’s not the only leftist crying foul as hordes of immigrants are being transported to new dwellings.

NY City Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, who is all on board the diversity, equity and inclusion train, was not pleased with having thousands of immigrants dumped into the Big Apple, stretching it resources thin.

The hypocrisy of Adams and Bowser didn’t go unnoticed. This has been seen as a contradictory move by Bowser, as she previously claimed that D.C was a “sanctuary city,” and the city is “guided by a celebration of diversity and inclusivity.”

Social media users were quick to call out Bowser:

More than 150 buses coming from Arizona and Texas have transported 4,000 migrants to the nation’s capitol over the last three months.

4,000 migrants is a drop in the bucket compared to what border states are experiencing, with record breaking numbers of migrant encounters.
