Mastermind of Hamas Attack Revealed as Iran Terrorist, Killed under Trump Admin

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) In a recent report by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), the Iranian government, led by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, was unveiled as the driving force behind last week’s Hamas terrorist onslaught against Israel.

The report underscored the key role played by the late Iranian militant Qassem Soleimani, Fox News reported on Sunday. Notably, Soleimani, who was directly linked to the deaths of over 600 U.S. military servicemen, met his demise at the behest of then-President Donald Trump in 2020.

According to MEMRI, Khamenei hinted at the “The Complete Conquest” of Israel in 2022 and 2023, with Soleimani masterminding the gruesome assault, claiming approximately 1,300 lives, including U.S. citizens.

A statement from a pro-Iranian regime outlet highlighted the significance of Khamenei’s remarks against Israel.

“The significance is that, last year, the Leader [Khamenei] gave ‘the promise of the imminent conquest,’ and this year he gave ‘the announcement of the complete conquest,’ and Operation Al-Aqsa Flood is part of this imminent conquest,” the propagandist site claimed, according to a Fox translation.

“This promise and announcement, along with the clarity and power of [Khamenei’s] statements and positions in his meeting [with leaders and ambassadors of Islamic countries] on the occasion of the Prophet [Muhammad’s] birthday, have profound significance and content,” it added.

The U.S. Department of State, however, dismissed the alleged ties between Iran and Hamas in their recent terrorist attack against Israel

“Iran has had a long relationship with Hamas, and Hamas wouldn’t be Hamas without the support that it’s gotten over many years from Iran,” the State Department said, directly quoting Blinken.

“Having said that, when it comes to this specific attack, right now, as we speak, we haven’t seen direct evidence that Iran participated in or helped plan the attack. That doesn’t mean that it didn’t; we just don’t have the evidence to show it. And as I said, there’s a long relationship between the two,” he said.

Despite this, the Biden administration blocked a $6 billion payout in frozen Iranian assets intended for a prisoner swap earlier this year.

Republicans have raised concerns that the funds could be easily used to sponsor future terrorist acts against the United States and its allies.
