Hunter Biden’s Ex-Wife to Release Memoir About His Drug Addiction, Cheating

'That gave her the gift of justification. I was the sicko sleeping with my brother’s wife... '

(Headline USA) Hunter Biden’s ex-wife plans to publish a memoir later this year about their marriage and how his drug addiction and cheating destroyed it.

“When my marriage ended, I felt like I’d lost my sense of who I was,” Kathleen Buhle, who was married to Biden for 24 years before divorcing him in 2017, told People magazine on Wednesday.

The book, titled “If We Break: A Memoir of Marriage, Addiction, and Healing,” is described by its publisher as a “page-turning and heartbreaking” account of “why she kept so much hidden – from her daughters and herself –for so many years.”

Buhle said writing the book “has been incredibly healing,” adding she hopes it will be helpful, “especially to women who have felt like their entire identity was tied to their spouse.”

“Anyone who has seen addiction ruin a relationship, or been through infidelity and divorce, can tell you how devastating it feels,” she said.

In her 2017 divorce filing, Buhle accused Hunter Biden of spending their money on drugs, prostitutes, alcohol, and strip clubs.

Hunter Biden cheated on Buhle with his sister-in-law, Hallie Biden, who was the widow of his late brother Beau Biden, along with, presumably, many other women.

In his own memoir published last year, Hunter Biden recalled how Buhle found out about his affair with Hallie Biden, saying she found text messages between them on an old iPad.

“That gave her the gift of justification,” he wrote, “I was the sicko sleeping with my brother’s wife.”

Hunter Biden has been open about his struggle with addiction, saying that at one point he was so dependent on crack that he smoked the drug “every 15 minutes” and was “so desperate for a drink that I couldn’t make the one-block walk between a liquor store and my apartment without uncapping the bottle to take a swig.”
