(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) With potential control of the US Senate at stake, Georgia’s incumbent leftist Democrat Raphael Warnock stumbled through a highly-anticipated debate against his Republican challenger, Trump-endorsed Herschel Walker.
Expectations for Walker’s performance in Friday night’s debate were guarded, at best, coming off a week of vicious media attacks and given his lack of political theater experience. It didn’t take long for Walker to ease any angst, delivering solid responses on everything from crime and inflation to abortion and Warnock’s support of the Biden regime’s disastrous policies.
After days of a leftist media promoting a story that Walker had encouraged and paid for a women to have an abortion, allegations he has denied, Walker didn’t shy from his pro-life support.
Warnock: “A patient’s room is too … cramped a space for a woman, her doctor, and the US government.”
Walker: “There’s a baby in that room as well.” pic.twitter.com/l5NJO9z7G5

Y’all… Herschel Walker is DESTROYING Raphael Warnock in this debate.
I did NOT expect this!
Warnock is over.
“Instead of aborting those babies why are you not baptizing those babies?”

When Warnock tried to use his D.C. swamp experience to school his non-politician opponent, Walker not only held his own, but turned the argument solidly to his favor. After a dodge from Warnock trying to blame skyrocketing Bidenflation on evil corporations, Walker delivered a lesson of his own.
“You continue to pat yourself on the back, but right now families are starving,” Walker told Warnock. “They’re hurting because of bills and laws you’re passing right now.”

After awkwardly sweating through a fable about how Warnock was his own man and not afraid to buck the leftist regime line, he tried to distance himself from Biden.
Walker simply noted the facts.
WALKER: “Warnock said he stood up. He has NOT stood up to Biden.”
“If he was standing up, he wouldn’t have voted with him 96% of the time, which gave us” an open border, high inflation, and crime in the streets. #GASenDebate pic.twitter.com/Yr18nlTw8H

“If he was standing up, he wouldn’t have voted with him 96% of the time, which gave us an open border, which gave us high inflation, which gave us crime in the streets,” Walker blasted.
“And he’s talking about ‘standing up’? He didn’t stand up. He had laid down every time it came around.”
The debate didn’t turn any better for Warnock, even what it came to the BLM movement and rioters that he supports and so-called criminal justice reform that he backs.
“He told me black lives matters,” Walker said of his opponent.
“In Atlanta, Georgia, there are more black babies that are aborted than anything. So, if black lives matter why are you not protecting those babies?”
WALKER says Raphael Warnock’s support for eliminating cash bail is a “problem.”

It went from bad to worse for Warnock when he tried to deny his involvement in evicting disadvantage residents from an apartment building owned by his church.
Just so we’re clear, I spoke with a military veteran who lives in this building last week who is currently facing eviction for just $192 in unpaid rent. He wasn’t even a month late when he was served the notice.
He plans to fight it in court, but he can’t afford a lawyer https://t.co/eg5BVI6NtT

“For someone that has never debated, never run for office, is not a full time preacher or politician there is no doubt that @HerschelWalker WON the #GASenDebate tonight by holding Warnock accountable for his votes & focusing on the GA people by highlighting his policy positions,” tweeted Paris Dennard, former Trump White House fellowships commissioners.
I just don’t see how Warnock turns this around against @HerschelWalker.

Coming off the debate, Walker and Warnock were in a statical tie within the margin of error in most polls from the Senate seat.
