Cancer-Stricken 69-Yr.-Old Grandma Charged w/ Prison over Jan. 6 Delivers Emotional Message

'Just keep your faith that no matter what’s going on in your life, God’s with us...'

(Caroline Cason, Headline USA) In August 2021, Pam Hemphill was arrested for involvement, demonstrating, or proceeding inside the U.S. Capitol building during the Jan. 6 uprising.

The 69-year-old grandmother and cancer patient pleaded guilty and was sentenced to serve 60 days in a correctional institution, along with owing $500 in damages.

But before she went to the penitentiary last Wednesday, she created an impassioned video, directed toward the American people, the National File reported.

Hemphill told reporters that she was extremely “frightened” but that she maintained faith in a higher power that was helping see her through the adversity and injustice.

Just keep your faith that no matter what’s going on in your life, God’s with us,” Hemphill urged viewers in the video.

“No matter what’s happening to us, it’s gonna be OK in our lives,”, she added. “Just lean on God and just do what’s right and help make this country better again and support all those that are right now locked up—and the Jan. 6t people that are not getting any trials. God bless you all.”

According to a Newsmax’s interview with Hemphill, the grandmother denied picketing or marching in the Capitol building.

She said she was pushed into the Capitol by the protesters behind her. She then went on to say that she only pleaded guilty because her lawyer advised her to.

A video from Jan. 6 shows Hemphill telling other protesters not to steal, according to American Greatness.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., tweeted out a message directed at President Joe Biden exclaiming that “this is OUTRAGEOUS” and he needed to give Hemphill clemency.
