GOP Budget Would Defund Globalist WHO

'I’m glad to see it did come out of the appropriations committee, but we’ve got to follow it through to make sure it passes... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A recently released document from the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations revealed that the GOP lawmakers proposed prohibiting “funds for… UNFPA, the World Health Organization, and the Gender Equity and Equality Action Fund.”

According to PJ Media, Republican representatives proposed legislation to take funding away from the globalist organizations in response to a recent announcement from WHO detailing censorship plans they dubbed an “infodemic.”

“The infodemic can directly impact health, hamper the implementation of public health countermeasures and undermine trust and social cohesiveness,” the document read. “Infodemic cannot be eliminated it can only be managed. This is why WHO and partners have developed the approach of infodemic management which encompasses Risk Communication and Community Engagement adding additional tools and approaches to manage it more efficiently in the 21st century.”

Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., wrote a letter to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy in response to WHO’s blatant overreach. Norman urged the speaker to “move forward with cutting the WHO’s funding in appropriations,” and acknowledged that there’s more work to complete.

“I’m glad to see it did come out of the appropriations committee, but we’ve got to follow it through to make sure it passes,” Norman said.

Former President Donald Trump successfully cut funding for the WHO in his first term as president—a decision swiftly undone by the Biden administration coming into power.

Throughout the entirety of the pandemic, the WHO reportedly covered for the Chinese Communist Party’s experimentation resulting in COVID-19 and failure to contain the disease.

Many suspected COVID Czar Anthony Fauci of protecting the WHO and even granting funds to the Wuhan lab where COVID originated. Fauci has been the subject of several federal investigations.

“The WHO is China-centric and panders to Beijing at every turn,” said Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., in a statement. “There is no reason U.S. taxpayers should contribute more than $400 million annually to an organization that covered for China and failed to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

WHO also promoted hasty vaccinations, despite shoddy testing, leading to all kinds of unanticipated repercussions for people all over the world.
