(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A prominent journalist has brought attention to an alarming development at Fox News, revealing that the network has prohibited its journalists and on-air hosts from mentioning the name of the recently ousted host Tucker Carlson.
Chadwick Moore, known for his biography of Carlson, took to Twitter on Sunday to drop a bombshell, alleging that he bad been privately informed by current Fox News employees that “all on-air talent have been banned from saying the name ‘Tucker’ on air.”
Carlson’s abrupt removal from the network on April 24 left many viewers angry and puzzled, as the specific reasons for his ousting remained unclear.
However, Moore said in his latest book, “Tucker: The Biography,” set to be published on July 16, that Carlson’s departure was a direct result of the Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit settlement, which amounted to a staggering $787 million.
Fox News employees have told me privately that all on-air talent have been banned from saying the name “Tucker” on air.

Following Carlson’s exit, Fox made several changes to its primetime setlist, likely in response to scathingly low viewership. Reports suggested that the network’s investigative unit has been disbanded to make way for financial programming. Hannity host Sean Hannity, for instance, was moved from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Carlson’s old time slot.
In a series of separate tweets, Moore also warned that Fox News “banned” him because of his disclosure of the reasons behind Carlson’s departure and his book about the popular TV host.
“I’m not allowed on Fox anymore, because I wrote a book about @TuckerCarlson. I’ve been banned from the network,” Moore revealed on Sunday, with the tweet quickly gaining over 500,000 views.
Moore went on to say that Fox has implemented a policy prohibiting any guest from promoting books that are not published by Harper Collins, a subsidiary of Fox News’s parent company, News Corp.
“This is FACT: Fox News has a new policy (aside from banning me): they won’t plug any book from a guest unless it was published by HarperCollins,” Moore stated. “You can’t be a guest on Fox unless you’re a Fox author…it’s all so hilarious and grotesque. Fox News will not let you promote your book unless your book is published by Fox News.”
In a follow up tweet on Monday, Moore said that Fox News had “reserved” its policy to not publicize any “non-News Corp books.”
I’m very pleased that thanks to my tweets Fox has reversed its recent decision to not publicize non-News Corp books. Fox did the right thing here. A tremendous victory for all of us struggling authors! (Any mention of “Tucker” the book is probably still banned tho.)
