FBI Top Brass Quashed Probes of Chinese Spies Infiltrating Swalwell, Feinstein

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In a glaring abuse of power, top level officials in the FBI put a halt to probes into Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and his alleged Chinese spy mistress, along with Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., investigator Jerry Dunleavy reported in a Twitter thread.

Swalwell is known for his illicit relationship with Chinese reported honeypot spy Christine Fang—also known as Fang Fang.

Aside from listing all of Fang’s misdeeds and treasonous acts, Dunleavy also noted her connection to Swalwell and the FBI’s findings during the initial investigation.

But according to Dunleavy, FBI investigations were “essentially ended” when FBI leadership decided to “provide defensive briefings to Swalwell & Feinstein (citing their key roles on House Intel & Senate Intel respectively) rather than allowing the investigations into the Chinese spy efforts to continue.”

Regarding Feinstein, one of her staffers, Russell Lowe, was investigated for years regarding his Chinese connections. The FBI opened an investigation against Lowe after he met with a Chinese national in San Francisco.

Dunleavy noted that Lowe and Fang knew each other via the Chinese consulate to which Lowe is reported to have gone.

Soon thereafter they discovered that Lowe was taking annual trips to China.

After pursuing the opportunity to perform a covert search of Lowe’s belongings, FBI agents were shut down by upper level management, and a “defensive briefing” was issued to Feinstein’s office.

Lowe departed soon thereafter, presumably due to the investigation into Feinstein’s staff.

In 2018, Feinstein said of the matter that “the FBI told me five years ago it had concerns that China was seeking to recruit an administrative member of my California staff (despite no access to sensitive information). I took those concerns seriously, learned the facts, and made sure the employee left my office immediately.”

According to Dunleavy, a former FBI agent remarked on the incredible disparity between the agency’s handling of the 2016 Trump campaign and the clear Chinese influence on major Democrat politicians in Washington.
