(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in June of 2022, the FBI began targeting pro-life individuals and pregnancy centers as domestic terrorist threats.
Former FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle, who served from the Kansas City Field Office, made a statement revealing these facts to the U.S. House’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
According to Fox News, the FBI had O’Boyle divide a single case of purported domestic terrorism into four separate cases so the organization could show Congress an “influx” of domestic terrorist cases.
The FBI also required O’Boyle to create a new threat tag, known as “THREATSTOSCOTUS2022,” after the decision was released. He initially believed this decision to be legit because “threatening a Supreme Court official is a violation of federal crime,” but that quickly changed when the tag “began focusing in on pro-life adherence.”
“When this threat tag came out, it was like, why are you focusing on pro-life people?” he told the panel. “It’s pro-choice people who are the ones protesting or otherwise threatening violence in front of Supreme Court justices’ houses.”
O’Boyle also said the FBI wanted agents to investigate “pregnancy centers.”
FBI Director Christopher Wray claimed that there is only “one standard,” in the way they approach the pro-life movement, despite their lack of progress in investigating the many attacks on pregnancy centers.
Rev. Jim Harden, CEO of pro-life medical network known as CompassCare, called out Wray on his claim, pointing out that the terrorist group known as Jane’s Revenge has only committed vandalism and other more serious attacks on “pro-life entities.”
“The DOJ and FBI aren’t prioritizing investigations into the attacks against pro-life citizens because they are busy attacking pro-life Christians,” Harden said. “The days of salvaging the DOJ and FBI have passed. Garland needs to be indicted, Wray fired, and the entire FBI complex defunded, dismantled, and rebuilt.”
The FBI targets alleged violators of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, performing “guns drawn” raids on the homes of several pro-life activists based on flimsy evidence.
