Ex-NBA Star Plans GOP Challenge to Ilhan Omar

'She's in on it. She's a globalist. She's a puppet for the establishment... '

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Royce White, a former professional basketball player, said on Twitter that he is running in the Republican congressional primary for a chance to remove radical Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., from her Minneapolis-area seat.

“We are in a crisis. We are at war,” White said. “Our sovereignty is on the line. The soul of America is on the line.”

White often appears on right-wing podcasts and shows, including Steve Bannon‘s “War Room,” the Star Tribune reported.

“You’re a patriot and an American hero, and I think that there are great, great days ahead of you,” Bannon said to White in the announcement video.

White made a name for himself in professional basketball by proudly proclaiming the phrase, “Free the Uyghurs,” and by resisting the NBA‘s indifference to China‘s abusive regime.

He has warned about the globalists’ Great Reset agenda and economic centralization in the Federal Reserve.

“We have to fight the momentum of globalism,” White said. “My problem with Ilhan isn’t that she’s not an American or that she’s not from Minnesota.”

“She’s in on it. She’s a globalist. She’s a puppet for the establishment,” White said as the faces of Bill Gates, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, George Soros, Mark Zuckerberg, and others flashed across the screen.

Omar holds Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, a safe Democratic seat since 1963.

To face Omar, White will have to defeat two Republican primary opponents, Shukri Abdullahi Abdirahman, a Somalian-born US military veteran, and Cicely Davis.

If victorious in the primary, White would face an uphill battle in the general election.

Omar won her 2018 election by more than 50 percent and her 2020 reelection by nearly 40 percent.

“What Big Pharma, Big Tech, and the corporate elites have done to us during this pandemic shows us tyranny is here,” White said. “The line has been drawn, and it’s pretty damn clear.”
