Ex-Intel Chief Ric Grenell: Biden Backing BOTH Sides in Ukraine Conflict

'We're working with the Iranians, who are supplying the Russians, and we're giving money to the Ukrainians. It's outrageous... '

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell said the Biden administration is aiding both the Russians and the Ukrainians in the Eastern European war.

Congress and the White House have sent billions in economic and military aid to Ukraine to defeat Russian President Vladimir Putin.

At the same time, President Joe Biden has been negotiating a new nuclear deal with Iran, which would likely result in another Obama-style cash payment to the nation, Just the News reported.

“So, we, the United States, the Biden administration is literally on both sides of the war now in Ukraine,” Grenell said on the John Solomon Reports podcast. “We’re working with the Iranians, who are supplying the Russians, and we’re giving money to the Ukrainians. It’s outrageous.”

As the Biden administration negotiates with Iran, the Islamic Republic has reportedly sent weapons and soldiers to Russia, including two unique drones, the Shahed-131 and the Shahed-136.

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have purportedly been sent to train Russians to use the drones.

“The Iranian Shahed-131/-136 are very dangerous, even if not very sophisticated,” said Farzin Nadimi, associate fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “[Their] method of guidance offers a decent amount of accuracy, which makes its relatively small (at around 30 kg) warhead potentially very lethal if it manages to reach its target.”

Iran’s unmanned aerial vehicles crash into their targets and inflict significant damage, earning them the name “kamikaze drones.”

Russia allegedly used the Iranian drones during its attack on Odessa, a major port city on the Black Sea.

Iran denies a role in arming the Russians, asserting its neutrality in the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. Russia rejects reports that it has received arms from Iran.

“Iran is producing military equipment for the Russians and directly selling the drones to them,” Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations Bob Rae said Monday. “I don’t know how the Iranians can say that isn’t true. We know it’s true.”

Western powers assert that Russia and Iran have united in the war, leading Biden administration officials to prepare new sanctions against the Islamic Republic.
