Ex-ICE Chief Warns of ‘Third World’ Migration Invasion Amid Record High Illegals Surge

'They don’t care about what’s going on...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Former ICE Acting Director Ronald Vitiello issued a dire warning regarding the escalating crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, accusing the Biden regime of implementing policies that have led to a surge in border crossings by individuals from the “third world.”

This warning comes in the wake of preliminary data that revealed a sharp increase in border patrol arrests in August, with numbers soaring to over 177,000, marking a 30% rise for the second consecutive month.

“We’ve been in the crisis since the beginning of this administration,” Vitiello said in an interview with Fox News’s Julie Banderas on Sunday.

“They made terrible choices about the policies on our southwest border, which has encouraged tens of thousands of people to come from the third world, from all over the world, actually, to come to our southwest border that’s because of the choices that they’ve made,” he added.

The former ICE chief also emphasized the alarming increase in the number of migrant families arrested at the border, surpassing the previous record set in 2019. “They are touting numbers are going down when it’s quite the opposite, it seems,” Julie Banderas commented during the interview.

Regarding the administration’s response to the crisis, Vitiello expressed deep concern and spoke of what’s to come. “What’s next? More of the same,” he added before drawing attention to the accomplishments of the Trump administration.

“They don’t care about what’s going on. They prefer this chaos over the control they had when they took over. When this administration took over, we had a 45-year low in illegal migration across the southwest border. That’s less deaths, less destruction of the border environment.”

Vitiello urged Congress and the administration to take immediate action to regain control of the border, asserting that the chaos not only threatens national security but also burdens law enforcement, public healthcare and schools across the country.

He concluded by reminding the public that the current situation is not what the majority of Americans voted for or expected when the Biden administration took office, highlighting the need for a comprehensive reevaluation of border policies to address this growing crisis.

“Nobody voted for this,” he concluded. “Nobody asked for the border to be so out of control.”
