Eco-Vandals Removed from Sticky Situation at Music Hall

'I'm standing here because we are all suppressing the climate catastrophe and are thus robbing our children of the chance to live in safety and peace... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Radical environmentalists interrupted a concert at Hamburg, Germany’s Elbphilharmonie, gluing themselves to the concert stand to protest fossil fuels.

The two protestors, a man and a woman, glued themselves to the conductors stand to bring the concert to a halt, allowing them to shrilly preach their doomsday predictions, and prevent their removal from the venue.

However, according to the Post Millennial, the stand was not as permanent as they had anticipated. The radicals glued themselves to the stand, and videos show the audience booing their attempt at a monologue.

Security reported for duty, quickly removing the conductors stand and pulling the activists offstage—both of whom seemed shocked that the stand could be so easily removed.

Cheers ensued as security escorted the pair into a back room.

Last Generation, the climate alarmist group that sent the two to the concert, published a video arguing that the protest was a necessary step in fighting climate change.

“I’m standing here because we are all suppressing the climate catastrophe and are thus robbing our children of the chance to live in safety and peace,” said the female protestor, who also narrates the video. “We all have responsibility for the coming generations.”

“If we do too little now that means we share the blame for the biggest catastrophe that humanity has ever experienced,” she added.

She concluded the video by stating that she would like to have children, but believes their destruction by the climate crisis would be imminent.

The internet had a lot of fun at their expense.

This stunt is one of many in recent months. Climate activists have thrown soup at great works of art, such as Van Gogh’s Sunflowers, and glued themselves to walls or frames in order to garner media attention.

This is the first reported incident of a concert being targeted by a climate alarmist group.

There was no explanation offered as to why the concert was targeted.
