(Abdul–Rahman Oladimeji Bello, Headline USA) A viral video obtained by Libs of TikTok shows a large, biological male drag queen straddling a female student at an LGBTQ Pride event hosted by a public college in North Carolina.
In the video, event attendees laughed and watched as a drag queen gave a female student a hyper-sexualized lap dance.
Fox News reported that Forsyth Technical Community College has two on-campus high school programs. The public college begins enrollment in ninth grade and enrolls students as young as 14. School officials told Libs of TikTok that student events were open to all students in the college.
“These students, like all college students, are open to attend any student event,” the school said. “Forsyth Tech is committed to being a place of promise for our students. In order to fulfill that promise, we have clearly spelled out our mission, vision and equity statements.”
Forsyth Tech’s Pride Club reportedly lured kids to the drag show with free food and drinks as part of a Pride Festival the club promoted.
The county’s public health director claimed its “staff is committed to meeting the people we serve where they are. We believe we assign an appropriate amount of attention on the LGBTQIA community around education and prevention of sexually transmitted infections.”
The director said that health department staff was aware of the performances on campus, but disavowed “the actions that allegedly took place,” he told Fox, claiming his department was “not involved with planning the event and had no information regarding the age of the attendees.”

Public backlash over the event’s reported inclusion of minors was fierce.
“Unless that student was 18, this was sexual assault since it undoubtedly lacked parental consent,” tweeted a security officer, while another user asked, “how can you defend this? that’s a full grown man on top of a teenager.. i’m disgusted.”
