Disney Insider: Company Receiving Overwhelming Amount of Backlash

'Almost 7 in 10 Americans reject the radical position being pushed by Disney... '

(Joshua Paladino, Headline USA) Political commentator Dan Bongino said a Disney employee told him the company is receiving non-stop negative phone calls and messages about its opposition to Florida’s parental rights law.

“I got a message from someone who works at Disney who is telling me that Disney is tracking all of the calls complaining about their support for sexualizing kids in kindergarten,” Bongino said, according to the Daily Wire.

“The woman told me that the calls are overwhelming.”

In response to the Florida law that prevents public school teachers from discussing sexual orientation and gender identity with kids before 4th grade, Disney announced that it would prioritize critical race theory and transgenderism in its products and entertainment.

Disney’s leadership said it would help Democrats repeal the anti-grooming law and fight the culture war with a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda.”

This has caused an immediate decline in American adults’ trust in Disney.

Bongino also discussed a new poll from the Convention for State’s Action, which asked about Disney’s mission of “creating content to expose young children to sexual ideas.”

“Almost 7 in 10 Americans reject the radical position being pushed by Disney,” he said. “68.2 percent are now ‘less likely to do business with Disney, and of them 57.2 percent are ‘much less likely’ to buy from the entertainment giant.”

Half of Democrats said they felt “less likely” to buy Disney products, watch its shows and movies, or visit its attractions.

Nine percent of respondents, however, said Disney’s LGBTQ agenda makes them “more likely” to support the company.

Despite backlash, Disney continues to press the issue.

Abigal Disney, the granddaughter of Walt Disney, published an op-ed in the Washington Post that called on the company to resist the “mob” and remain on course.

“We need corporations to step up on principle, regardless of what the resulting backlash might look like,” she wrote.
