(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) The Democratic Party has found a new star in freshman Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, whose unhinged and profanity-laden defense of bribery allegations against President Joe Biden has gone viral, with some treating it as if it was the Gettysburg Address.

In the widely shared, Crockett defended the scandal-plagued president during an impeachment inquiry hearing by claiming that Biden’s only crime was “loving his child unconditionally” and not taking bribes from an Ukrainian gas company or interfering in the criminal investigation of Hunter.
Crockett, who represents Texas’s mostly-black and majority-Democrat 30th Congressional District, drew attention to former President Donald Trump. “These are our national secrets, looks like in the s***ter to me,” she claimed while pointing to photos of Mar-a-Lago.
Conservative critics did not mince their words in response to the speech, which was marked by the Texas lawmaker’s strong tone and abrasive defense of both Biden and Hunter.
Political commentator Tim Young sarcastically remarked, “Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett sounds like she’s arguing whether or not someone is the baby’s father on Maury. Both in tone and lack of evidence.” Young’s remarks referred to the now-cancelled tabloid talk show hosted by Maury Povich.

Trending News co-founder Collin Rugg, co-founder of Trending Politics chimed in. “We elect some of the dumbest people to Congress,” Rugg said. “What Crockett didn’t mention was how Joe Biden’s own son admitted that he was forced to pay his father.”
The conservative backlash and memes did not deter Crockett from celebrating her apparent viral victory, taking to Twitter to beg for political donations. “Y’all know I had to. And we still need help to take back the house from this McCarthy shutdown,” she posted on several tweets while also attaching a link to her campaign webpage.
Crockett has also found support among the radical left on Twitter. Occupy Democrats, a left-leaning page, known for its false information, thanked her for “standing up for all of us and against the #ExtremeRepublicanShutdown!”
Twitter personality Mike Sington praised her for apparently putting “the Republicans in their place,” and the Anti-Trump PAC MeidasTouch also commended Crockett, stating that she “deserved a standing ovation” after running cover for Biden.
