Dems Fume Over Election Messaging Fail; ‘We’re Not Some Demonic Cult’

'Democrats have not been able to fully counter the Republican narrative...'

Sen. Doug Jones, D-Ala., blamed radicals in his party for hurting Senate Democrats in red and purple states, arguing that they have let Republican “catch-phrases” falsely define the party, Politico reported.

“We’re not some demonic cult like we’re portrayed to be,” Jones said. “I was fighting the same battle that Jaime Harrison was fighting, that Mike Espy was fighting, that Cal Cunningham was fighting, that Steve Bullock was fighting. And Democrats have not been able to fully counter the Republican narrative.”

He lost his seat in pro-life Alabama, in large part, because of his support for a demonic practice: the murder of babies up until the moment of birth, Breitbart reported.

The Democrats lost seats in the House and so far have failed to gain control of the Senate.

They would have to sweep the runoff elections in Georgia and win the presidency, then they could win control of the upper chamber.

Democrats hope to accomplish a win in the state by distancing themselves from the anarchists and communists who control the party’s messaging and platform.

“It ain’t over,” Rep. Gregory Meeks, D-NY, said. “I don’t want anyone to think that I am trying to defund the police.”

He said he would travel to Georgia to persuade voters that the party is not run by radicals.

Some shuffling in leadership has begun for congressional Democrats.

Cheri Bustos, who chairs the House Democratic Congressional Campaign Commitee, quit the post on Monday, after it became clear that the caucus could lose more than 10 seats.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Ca., will campaign to lead the body again, and Sen. Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, will also retain his leadership position among Democrats, whether they take the Senate or not.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., has criticized his party for its outrageous proposals, saying that he would not suppor efforts to defund the police, pack the Supreme Court, or end the Senate fillibuster.

“Chuck has to understand we need to take a strong look at ourselves,” Manchin said, after commending him for his work in the 2020 election.

“I’ve watched the last three elections: 2016, ‘18 and ‘20. We truly should have been in the majority and it didn’t happen,” Manchin said. “Whatever our message is, it hasn’t worked. And I would hope that our leadership from the top to bottom understands that. It has not worked. And if we’re going down that path again, we’re in trouble.”
