Dem Congressional Aide Resigns after Caught Vandalizing MTG’s Posters

'I appreciate Tim’s service in my office and wish him all the best in his new endeavor... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Chief of staff for Democrat Rep. Jake Auchincloss, D-Mass., who was caught defacing posters outside of GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene‘s office has officially resigned.

Tim Hysom will be stepping down on Friday, according to Just the News.

“I appreciate Tim’s service in my office and wish him all the best in his new endeavor,” Auchincloss said.

Hysom has been offered a job in a different congressional office after working for Auchincloss for about a year. Hysom was repeatedly caught on security cameras, defacing of posters outside of Greene’s office.

In June, Greene revealed that the Capitol Police issued a warrant for Hysom’s arrest after putting stickers on one of the posters. The police report showed Greene’s poster reads: “There are Only Two Genders: Male and Female – Trust the Science.”

Hysom placed religious-themed stickers on the poster.

The U.S. attorney in Washington D.C. declined to prosecute Hysom.

As a further deterrent, Greene put a poster on the wall outside of her office featuring photos of the vandal and the dates of the incidents.

Greene has been taking the brunt of multiple leftists attacks, including being the target of a “swatting” police call.

Police responded to the calls at the Georgia Republican’s home two nights in a row. One call was a false report of a person who had been shot, the second appeared to be a suicide crisis.

The act of “swatting” is a false call made to the authorities with the purpose of drawing them to a location where they believe a crime has been committed or is in progress. Local police and SWAT teams, who have no way to know if the call is a hoax, often respond forcefully in these situations.

The second call from the suspect used a computer generated voice, and stated that they were “upset about Mrs. Greene’s political view on transgender youth rights.”
