(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In response to woke corporations constantly caving to the political demands of small minorities, the Daily Wire has launched an alternative company, Ben Shapiro wrote in a WND piece.
According to Shapiro, a men’s shaving razor company withdrew its advertising from the Daily Wire because they suggested that transgenderism was unnatural.
“In 2021, Harry’s Razors withdrew their advertising on one of our shows, citing a ‘values misalignment.’ What precisely was the problem? Our host had stated that men are men and women are women, and that sex is immutable.”
Just a few months later, Shapiro and others had helped to organize a non-woke razor company.
“So, we fought back,” he wrote. “This week, we launched Jeremy’s Razors, a razor company dedicated to the proposition that everyone, regardless of politics, deserves a good shave.”
In response, some on Twitter noted that Shapiro’s move is moot because corporations are inherently woke and opposed to competition, because they wish to maintain their entrenched power in the system.
Examples abound in support of this claim.
The Walt Disney Corporation has been the latest corporation to prove this point, recently caving to the demands of woke employees after the state of Florida passed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
In response to his employees, Disney CEO Bob Chapek sent an apology letter claiming that he failed them in their fight for equal rights.
“You needed me to be a stronger ally in the fight for equal rights and I let you down,” he wrote. “I am sorry.”
He also noted that he was planning a “listening tour,” during which he would find ways to cater to LGBT employees.
Chapek further pledged to make his company a propaganda wing for LGBT warriors, committing to include some form of lesbianism in the upcoming kid’s move Lightyear.
