Cruz Details Impeachment Against Biden Trio: ‘Body Bags Are Piling Up’

'The body bags are piling up and they need to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas because he is utterly defying federal law...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) In a blistering interview on Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, launched support for the looming impeachment inquiries of high-ranking Biden officials.

The Texas Senator expressed strong concerns over alleged misconduct and accused top officials of breaching the nation’s trust.

Responding to Bartiromo’s question about President Joe Biden’s alleged financial ties to foreign adversaries, Cruz said, “The House needs to take action and pursue three separate impeachment proceedings.”

Regarding Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security, Cruz was emphatic, stating, “I believe they should impeach him today, right now. His conduct has been atrocious, it’s created the worst humanitarian crisis on our southern border in the history of our nation.”

Cruz backed his claim with data, saying, “7 million illegal aliens, 853 migrants died last year crossing illegally, over 100,000 Americans lost to drug overdoses. The body bags are piling up and they need to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas because he is utterly defying federal law.”

Turning his attention to Attorney General Merrick Garland, Cruz asserted, “The IRS whistleblowers, if their testimony is accurate, then Merrick Garland committed multiple felonies.”

Cruz also added, “Now, they may not be accurate, that’s why it needs to be an impeachment inquiry. He deserves a chance to present his side of the case. If what they alleged is true, then Attorney General Merrick Garland lied under oath to Congress.”

Regarding President Biden, Cruz agreed with Speaker Kevin McCarthy, saying, “I think the House should open impeachment inquiry. I went through the FD-1023 in detail. The allegations in that document from the FBI that Joe Biden directly received a five million bribe and got another bribe for his son Hunter in exchange of favors.” Cruz later added, in reference to Biden, “If that is true, he should be impeached.”

Cruz had previously expressed support for the impeachment of Garland. In a July 12, tweet Cruz said, “There needs to be a special prosecutor appointed to find out if Attorney General Garland has committed multiple felonies.”
