CNN Admits Lefty Hero Liz Cheney in Big Trouble Ahead of GOP Primary

'The problem for Cheney is that there isn’t a lot of room in the Republican Party for those who voted to impeach Trump... '

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) An already bleak primary future is looking even more dire for Rep. Liz Cheney, RINO-Wyo., who has apparently lost the confidence of even reliably leftist CNN.

Even though Cheney suddenly became “an unexpected hero for Democrats,” Harry Enten from CNN said that leftists should not think that popularity among Democrats and people in Cheney’s home state of Wyoming is the same thing, Breitbart reported.

“We shouldn’t mistake adoring press coverage and bipartisan bona fides for popularity in the place where popularity matters most for Cheney: Wyoming.”

Enten said that Republicans do not like Cheney and that only a small percentage of them support her conspiring with lead J6 witch hunter House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Only 17% of Republicans nationwide approved of the unholy alliance, according to Breitbart.

Meanwhile, Cheney’s opponent, Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman, leads the Wyoming primary tilt by “a significant margin” of 28 to 30 points.

“This lines up with what more recent internal polling of the August Republican primary for Cheney’s at-large House seat in Wyoming is showing — Cheney is behind, one of her challengers, the Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman, by a significant margin.”

As expected of a CNN correspondent, Enten rushed to reassure his leftist audience that there may be other reasons that explain Cheney’s miserable numbers.

“Now, we should treat this data with caution since the people releasing it likely have their motives, such as rooting for Cheney to lose,” he said.

CNN also rained on Cheney’s strategy of courting Democrats for their support.

“Wyoming, though, doesn’t have many Democrats,” Enten bemoaned.

“Yet Cheney has been trying to get the few Democrats there are to cross over and vote in the Republican primary. These statistics demonstrate that those efforts probably won’t do much for her.”

The reason why this is happening is that Republicans don’t like RINOs who oppose Trump.

“The problem for Cheney is that there isn’t a lot of room in the Republican Party for those who voted to impeach Trump,” Enten conceded.

“A 2021 Pew Research Center poll found that 64% of Republicans said the party should not be accepting of those who had. And recent primary elections also suggest that her actions toward Trump could cost her.”
