Chris Cuomo Suddenly Attacks Those Who Demonized Trump Supporters

'You are overstating and it hurts your ability to expand reach...'

(Chris Parker, Headline USA) Former CNN disgraced anchor Chris Cuomo, who railed against conservatives during his tenure, has suddenly taken a new tone.

Yesterday, he attacked leftists demonizing Trump supporters via Twitter, reported The Daily Wire. Cuomo initially responded to a tweet stating Trump supporters “demonize immigrants, Jews, African Americans and anyone who isn’t ‘Christian’ by their standards.”

“I think you need to look more OFF twitter/social media,” Cuomo replied. “This place is not reality. It is an exaggeration that caters to fringe and those who profit from it.”

He also responded to another Tweet claiming that Trump supporters “just also happened to be racist and xenophobic.”

“Some. Not all. You are overstating and it hurts your ability to expand reach. Yang says many of this nee (sic) supporters are former trump voters. Why didnt dems get them? Maybe because you demonize all who voted for him,” Cuomo said.

Cuomo had previously discussed a possible change of heart during an interview with Bill Maher. He specifically called out the dangers of viewers refusing to acknowledge the truth when they prefer to just hear what they want to hear.

“You can’t expect the men and women in the media to not play a game that everybody else is playing,” he said at one point.

“You are watching because the game, you are allowing yourself to be put on teams or in tribes or any way you want to designate it. But they’re supposed to somehow break away from that when it’s what you want? When it’s what resonates with you? No.”

Cuomo was fired from CNN after the network investigated his efforts to help his brother, former Democrat governor of New York Andrew Cuomo, navigate his sexual harassments allegations.

He has since taken jabs at his former colleagues, including far-Left commentator Don Lemon. Cuomo will soon host his own show on NewsNation.
